Meet The Team
Heidi A. Kluess, Ph.D., FACSM
Director
Dr. Kluess received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in Wellness. She then did her Master's Degree at the University of Florida in Exercise Physiology and went to Louisiana State University for her Ph.D. in Kinesiology. She did two post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics and at the Medical College of Wisconsin in the Department of Anesthesiology. She was a faculty member at the University of Arkansas for 4 years and then moved to Auburn University in 2011.
Leslie E. Neidert, Ph.D.
Doctoral Student
Leslie recieved her Bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia. She then earned her Master's degree at Auburn University and recently completed her Doctorate in Kinesiology. Leslie is currently doing a post-doctoral fellowship at NIAMS in San Antonio, TX.
Caroline Hubbard
Undergraduate Researcher
Caroline is completed her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University. She is currently in Medical School.

Elise Mann
Undergraduate Researcher
Elise is currently completing her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University. She has volunteered in the lab since 2014. Elise plans to go to Medical School.
Sarah completed her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at Auburn University. Sarah is currently in OccupationalTherapy School.
