Experimental Biology
Leslie and Dr. Kluess attended and presented at the Experimental Biology Conference in San Diego, CA. Leslie presented a poster on Monday and did an excellent job. She talked to a number of important people about our research. Leslie also won a Caroline tun Suden/Frances Hellebrandt Abstract award for her poster. This award included travel funds to attend the conference.
American College of Sports Medicine
Leslie is heading to Boston, MA at the end of May. Leslie has a poster presentation.

Southeast American College of Sports Medicine
Caroline, Leslie, Elise and Dr. Kluess presented and attended the SEACSM annual meeting in Greenville, SC. Leslie talked as part of a symposium entitled "ATP and blood flow: A new role for the energy transfer molecule". This seminar was very well attended (even though it was on Sat morning!) . Caroline presented a poster and won first place in the Undergraduate Research Competition. Elise presented a poster also.
